Monday, January 23rd is the 100th day of school!!  We will celebrate this milestone with a day of fun activities.  Students will read 100 books, read about 100 ants, exchange money for 100 cents, create a 100 things we love class book, put together a 100s chart puzzle, and.....more!!!  Lots more! 

Ask and you shall receive!  Thank you for all the paper tubes.  We have quite a supply now and will not be needing anymore for a while.  I appreciate everyone's willingness to help!

January Scholastic Orders are now available online until January 28th.  Remember that every order earns us points for free classroom books.  It is so helpful to have the ability to replace some of our aging take-home books. Your participation is, of course, strictly voluntary.  If you are considering an order, remember our class code is:  HVVZ3.  Thank you!

STILL HOPING for one more volunteer to come in once a week to help our students with Reading Counts.  This will involve listening to students read a book to you, helping them log on to the Reading Counts site, and reading the questions to students who are struggling.  If you are interested and able to help, please let me know.  Thank you!
